Mount Edgecombe Country Club has two magnificent championship golf courses uniquely designed offering the competitive golfer a true test of golf and the social golfer an enjoyable round. All bookings are made through the Golf Department. The Mount Edgecombe Driving Range offers world class facilities for both practicing and tuition.

The Mount Edgecombe’s Course One, formerly the Hullets Country Club, was redesigned by Hugh Baiocchi and incorporates a residential estate in an ecologically maintained environment. This is one of the few courses in South Africa designed to USGA specifications.

Daysen, De Villiers and Van dev Merwe were commissioned to design the championship course directly south of the existing course on Estate 1. The topographical features, undulating hills with isolated indigenous bush, a stream running from East to West, the Pani Dam and two sensitive wetlands were taken into account when the development began.

The design philosophy adopted by the golf course architects was a course that is challenging, but fair – where a serious golfer could test his skills but an accasional golfer could enjoy the game.
