Milnerton Golf Club (MGC) has evolved from a six-hole course at its inception in 1913 into the world-class 18-hole championship course that it is today. The “9 out, 9 in” course is bordered by the Atlantic ocean on the west and a lagoon on the east, and provides a golfing experience unique to South Africa: Built on sea sand, we believe we are the only true links course in Africa. In 1995, MGC underwent a major facelift as a result of the development of the Milnerton Links housing estate on part of the course. Some of the original holes were retained, while others were completely rebuilt. The new layout, together with all its features, has proved to be a huge success.
